Hi, I’m Carli June, the heart behind Chuckleberry! As a birth doula, I believe that birth is a transformative journey that blossoms in a supportive, positive, and calm environment. My approach is rooted in gratitude, lightness, and authenticity. I encourage my clients to laugh, cry, be vulnerable, and embrace the realness of their experience — because when we open up and allow ourselves to feel, that's when the magic happens.

The name Chuckleberry reflects two important parts of my life: my philosophy of keeping things joyful and my beloved hedgehog, Burberry. Why a hedgehog? To me, labor is a lot like how hedgehogs navigate the world. If they’re startled, they retreat; if the environment feels off, they hide. But with gentle care, patience, and a few mealworms in hand, they relax, stay calm, and thrive. Birth is much the same. With the right support team, the right atmosphere, and an understanding of your unique needs, you too can find your rhythm and strength in this beautiful journey.

Beyond my passion for birth work, I’m a proud "crunchy mama" of two beautiful babies and a 6th generation Idahoan. I thrive on being close to nature, whether it’s hiking, exploring the outdoors, or simply soaking in the beauty of the mountains around us. I love to travel and embrace the adventure that life brings. In our home, we live for "yes days" — those magical, spontaneous moments of fun. I bring that same spirit of wonder, openness, and joy into my doula work, guiding you with heart and gratitude through one of life’s greatest adventures.
